Review and Analysis of Models for a European Digital Building Logbook

The concept of a Digital Building Logbook (DBL) was first introduced with the European strategy ‘Renovation Wave’. It is considered as one two fundamental parts which Renovation Passport composed: DBL and Roadmap. As implementation priority, this paper reviews existing literature analyses most developed models. analysis includes iBRoad, ALDREN, X-tendo, Study on Development Union Framework for Buildings’ Logbook, from perspective seven key aspects: References used starting point model definition; Identification relevant stakeholders in DBL; Identified potential user needs; Proposed structure indicators; Data sources; Potential functionalities; Operation use. results show that important advancement has been made, although there still no consensus about crucial subjects, such indicators to be collected or how collect use them. This probably due fact final functionalities (objective scope) logbook should provide are not fully clear.
